We have proposed a limited IP multicasting approach which only supports
a local multicasting relying on the multicast server, and implemented
a client and server program by Java JMF API.

label distribution protocol on the MPC860/VxWorks.

ATM layer management and buffer scheduling for an STM-1/4c ATM line card, and
MPLS switching.
- 1997.11 - 1999.2 : Development of the MPOA-based 20Gbps Switched
Router (sponsor: Ministry of Information Communication).
The main duties consist of implementing traffic management,
ATM layer management and buffer scheduling for an STM-1 ATM line card, and
ATM-LAN communication protocols.
- 1996.1 - 1996.12 : ATM connection admission control scheme
using a multilayer perceptron (sponsor: Korea Science and Engineering
Foundation). The main duites consist of coding and analyzing the
simulation program using SIMSCRIPT.
- 1993.3 - 1995.12 : Traffic management in ATM networks
(sponsor: Korea Telecommunication). Especially, on connection admission
control scheme in ATM networks.
- 1990.3 - 1993.2 : Development of ATM switching systems
(sponsor: Korea Telecommunication). The main duties consist of implementing
the ATM line handling cards in an ATM swithcing system that was the first
ATM switching system in Korea, and demonstrated in Telecom'92 at Geneva.
- 1985.11 - 1990.2 : Development of TDX swithcing systems
(sponsor: Korea Telecommunication). The main duties consist of implementing
the time-division switch cards in a digital switching system using for the
national-wide telephony switching system in Korea.

- Good experience on HP's ATM test equipments
- Good experience on LAN meter and Protocol Analyzer
- Additionally, good understanding of Internet routing issues (BGP, OSPF),
and configuration of network devices
